Why did you become a Salesforce Admin?
When I started using Salesforce, I really liked using the platform because I knew there were a million things I could do with it. With so many capabilities, I realized I wouldn’t be doing the same thing over and over again.
What is the most important skill for an Admin?
The most important skill for a Salesforce Admin is patience with your users. Remember that not everyone is as technical or familiar with Salesforce as you. Having patience for my users enables me to provide good customer service as I strive to architect a system that helps them be more efficient in their job.
What’s your advice to other Admins?
If you are an Admin, don’t be afraid! Don’t wait too long to ask for help. The Salesforce community is very gracious and helpful, so don’t be nervous to ask a question. I have never felt stupid for asking for help, so don’t let that feeling stop you. If you need help, just ask!
