It was about a year ago that Mark Slayton wrote about Salesforce Global variables, it’s a great post and if you haven’t read it already I want you to add it to your reading list. Last week I was doing some work on the org that Jared and I use to manage the podcast- yes we use a Salesforce org, so maybe I’ll have to write about that in the future. Anyway, I found myself trying to think of the last time I created a custom field on the user record that I then used to make data more relevant for my users.
