Join us this release and dive into a Summer ’19 learning journey to discover what’s new for Admins and Developers. We know each release brings with it lots of amazing new functionality and there can be a lot to digest. Well, with The MOAR You Know, we’re packaging the release and bringing it to you in manageable, bite-sized pieces.
It’s easy to get started. First, it’s time to dive into the Trailhead trailmixes with key release highlights for both Admins and Developers (and don’t forget to hit “Follow”). Then, check in over the next five days (June 7-June 13) to read top release highlights as curated and published by our Admin and Developer evangelists. Last, attend a Global Gathering to learn about the release in person.

Let’s celebrate the Summer ’19 release with Salesforce Celebrations ?! Celebrations is a brand new way for Admins to drive user adoption and engagement in Lightning Experience by surprising users with a little fun within the app.
Imagine you are a salesperson and you have just closed a deal. Time to celebrate, right? Now you can use Salesforce Celebrations to add confetti on the user’s screen within the app to celebrate when they change the status on that Opportunity using Path. This is a great way to encourage your users to immediately use Salesforce to track their accomplishments with an Opportunity. Who doesn’t want their own personal confetti party?!
You have control over how often the users will see the confetti and what triggers it within the Path on that object. To set up this fun new feature, type “Path” in the search bar of Setup to find Path Setting. If it’s your first time here you need to “Enable” Path, after that you can select the “New” or “Edit” button to configure a Path. Starting in Summer ’19 you’ll see a new option on step three of the Path configuration wizard. This is where you can enable and setup Celebrations.
