Your Security Center Just Got an Agentforce Glow Up

Your Security Center Just Got an Agentforce Glow Up

By

For many solo admins—and I know there are a lot of you out there—out-of-the-box features and being security savvy can be enough to meet the basic security requirements for your Salesforce org. But what about the admins working in heavily regulated industries or for high-growth organizations that are quickly scaling? You may need additional help when it comes to security and detecting threats.

In the age of AI, and with Agentforce supporting admins with many of their core responsibilities, shouldn’t agents help us with security too?

Security Center, now with Agentforce

Admins have had access to Security Center to monitor their Salesforce org security posture. It’s an add-on product that helps us proactively manage things like user access and permissions across our orgs, from just one to multiple instances. And now, Security Center has gotten an Agentforce glow up.

Security Center now uses Agentforce to provide automated risk assessment and proactively detect and alert admins to unusual activity. Gone are the days of staring at our dashboards hoping we don’t miss something! With Agentforce integrated into Security Center, our role shifts from manual investigator to high-level orchestrator.

In the past, an anomaly meant hours of cross-referencing login IPs, report exports, and audit trails. Now, Agentforce does the heavy lifting for us. Imagine arriving at your desk to find a high-priority incident already triaged. Instead of just seeing an alert, you have a Timeline of Events showing exactly when a user’s behavior shifted. Rather than starting from scratch, you can work with a mitigation plan created by Agentforce—reviewing, making necessary edits, and approving a predrafted strategy to close the incident and keep your org, users, and data secure.

Security at the speed of conversation

With Security Center, we can switch from being reactive to proactive when it comes to security concerns, and we can do it without needing expertise in complex query languages. Using the sidebar interface, we can ask Agentforce about user behaviors in addition to the automated risk assessments. Rather than diving into users one by one, we can ask the agent questions about report exports or password rotations in natural language. This gives us the opportunity to focus on other tasks while still prioritizing security. We can move faster, reduce human error, and maintain a strong security posture in our orgs.

See it in action in the Security Keynote from Dreamforce ’25.
