Kick off your Dreamforce experience by attending the Lightning Activation Keynote: It’s Better in Lightning on Tuesday at 9 a.m. PST at the Marriott Marquis YB9. Get familiar with all the tools and resources needed to help you activate Lightning. Hear how Trailblazers at Ticketmaster, Penske Logistics, and customers of all sizes have built the case for Lightning, managed change at scale, and are delivering smarter and faster with the Lightning Platform. Also, make sure to check out the Salesforce for Admins Keynote to hear about the latest features and innovation delivered since last Dreamforce.
Come by Lightning Rapids at Moscone West on the second floor, and get hands-on when you join a Lightning workshop. Experts will showcase the value of activating Lightning Experience, and how you can empower all your users to start building apps on the Lightning Platform. You can also check out more great Lightning content at the IoT Village and IT Observatory in the Developer Forest.
Join one of our many Lightning breakout sessions! We have over 200 sessions for you covering topics from customization to Roadmap, Trailblazer stories, and so much more. There are a plethora of sessions that you can choose from where you will leave feeling inspired with actionable tips that you can take back to your company. One quick way to see all the Lightning content we have in store is to go to Dreamforce.com and select “sessions” in the left-hand side navigation. You can filter by product for “Lightning Platform” and by theme for “Lightning Adoption” in the agenda. And, that’s it! Your one-stop-shop for all Lightning Activation at your fingertips!
This year we have an official day dedicated to Lightning Experience at Dreamforce! Wednesday, September 26 will be the official “Lightning Day.” Come by the Success Lodge at City View Metreon where there will be a keynote, as well as 20-minute theater sessions. Come sit and participate in a Circle of Success to share tips and ideas from your peers and hear from Lightning Experts.
Meet with a Lightning expert in a 1-to-1 consultation to help kickstart your journey to Lightning. Not only can you connect with experts from Salesforce, but you can connect with a Lightning Champion who has been in your shoes and is enthusiastic about sharing their experience with you. Lightning Champions will be leading workshops in the Lightning Rapids zone as well as the Admin Meadow. They bring their own unique point of view, since they have asked and answered, “how can you mentor and support your community to embrace the opportunities that Salesforce brings to it?” Strike up a conversation, and get connected!
Support the PepUp Tech crew attending Dreamforce this year! They always appreciate your mentorship; please take the time to connect with them. Big shout out to all the amazing people who have created the mold for mentorship on Salesforce, and made it their mission to spread it throughout the community: Scott Luikart, Stephanie Herrera, Shonnah Hughes, Rebe de la Paz, Toya Gatewood, and Hector and Kate Perez. Also, take the time to chat with them, and hear about how they built up their own mentorship programs outside of PepUp Tech. You’ll definitely be inspired, and might even find ways to help them further their missions.
Ever wanted to go on a wild river rafting adventure? Well at Dreamforce you can! Virtually, that is, on Astro’s River Run—a VR experience in the Lightning Rapids. In this fun, virtual reality game, you can compete against friends for high scores and a chance to win prizes. And if you’re already on Lightning, come and celebrate by showing us your best dance move with our Lightning Flash Mob who will be parading through the Campground.
