Summer ‘16 Sales Pilots: Predictive Lead Scoring & Automatic Gmail Email Logging

By

As Admins, you are the front line of new technology and innovation for your company and are responsible for discovering and evaluating new features for your organization, so we are excited to share 2 brand new pilots in Summer ‘16 that can help you deliver even more features and productivity to your Sales organization.

Predictive Lead Scoring

Sales users need to be able to prioritize, evaluate, and follow up with their leads – often in very large quantities. In order to organize the lead funnels for their users, many Admins spend time writing and maintaining workflow rules, processes, and formula fields. With Predictive Lead Scoring, your Salesforce organization evaluates fields on the lead records and returns a prioritized score, but that’s not all! This predictive scoring engine is smart, and will provide unique feedback to your company tuned into on how you work with leads. Say goodbye to maintaining manual lead-scoring rules as we automatically generate a machine learned model without any need for manual configuration, and continuously tune it to ensure that you’re getting accurate lead scores. To see this in more detail check out the demo video.

Automatically Log Gmail Emails into Salesforce

As Admins, we are constantly encouraging our end users to enter their information into salesforce and we are also always working to make it as easy as possible for those same users to manage their day in Salesforce. Some of our end users live in email, and making their emails seamlessly sync to Salesforce adds value to their experience and also, gives you detailed insight into customer interactions and helps enforce business processes. Administrators can control who has access to this feature, and your individual users can control the visibility of these emails being logged, so you can customize your implementation of this feature to fit your business.

In Summer ’16, we are offering a pilot feature that allows users to automatically log Gmail emails into Salesforce. Once those emails have been imported, they’ll appear on Lead and Contact records within Lightning Experience. To learn more, check out the demo video.
