Increase Remote Worker Productivity with Einstein Search

By

Most Salesforce users use Salesforce Search. But sometimes, it can be difficult for users to find exactly what they are looking for. That is why we have combined the power of AI with Salesforce Search to bring you: Einstein Search! And the best part is that most* Admins can turn it on on their own to boost their users’ current experience with more powerful, intelligent search.

Turn on Einstein Search for every Salesforce user today!

Powered by intelligence, the new Einstein Search experience makes it much easier to find what you’re looking for and do things more efficiently in Salesforce. And, as you may suspect, it’s fully powered by AI.

Here are three ways Einstein Search improves Salesforce users’ search results:

  • Personalized to you:If you’re searching for Robert Burns, out of 100 Robert Burns in the system, Einstein Search will identify the most relevant Robert Burns *for you* and show it as the top result.
  • Natural language-based: Instead of manually sorting and filtering to get the list you need, now you can simply type “my open opportunities this month” and Einstein Search will instantly display them.
  • Immediately actionable: We all want fewer clicks. Now when you search for Robert Burns, you will see actions you can take—such as creating a case or logging a note—right within the search box.

How to turn on Einstein Search

Step 1: To start getting personalized results, you need to turn on Personal. Check the checkbox on the Einstein Search setup page. For more details, see Enable Search Personalization. This should take three minutes or less.

Step 2: To turn on the natural language and actionability functionality, first create a permission set, then assign the permission set to users. See Create an Einstein Search Permission Set and Assign the Permission Set to Users. This might take 10-20 minutes.

Note: The Natural language features are currently available in English only.

And that’s it!

If you want to give your users a heads up on this new feature availability, you can use and adapt this example email as a template for your communications!

For organizations with thousands of users, change management is always an important consideration. We like to think the best features are so intuitive, they don’t need any change management. Einstein Search is intuitive— simply turn it on and let your users thank you for helping make them more productive. Additionally, if you have any questions, email us at TryEinsteinSearch@salesforce.com.

*Please check the Einstein Search Beta Limitations documentation for specific information about whether or not you will be able to use this feature in your org.
