Learn MOAR with Spring ’20 Release Highlights for Admins

Join us and discover the new Spring ’20 release features for Admins and Developers. We know each release brings with it lots of amazing new functionality and there can be a lot to digest. With Learn MOAR, we’re packaging the release and bringing it to you in manageable, bite-sized pieces.

It’s easy to get started. First, dive into the Trailhead Trailmixes with key release highlights for Admins or Developers, or both! (And don’t forget to hit Follow.) Then, check in over the next 5 days (January 24-30) to read our favorite Spring ’20 Release features on both the Salesforce Admin and Salesforce Developer blogs.

Lastly, find your local Trailblazer Community Group and attend a meeting to learn about the release in person. Learn, network, and share your experience with us using #LearnMOAR.

Be sure to follow and complete the trailmixes by March 31, 2020 to earn a special community badge and unlock a $10 donation to FIRST®, a non-profit robotics community that prepares young people for the future.

New Lightning Features

In Spring ’20 there are tons of new features in Lightning to help Admins and End Users be productive. Check out a few of our favorite features coming to Lightning in Spring ‘20!

App Launcher Experience

App Launcher in Lightning gives your users all their apps and tabs in one place, and now in Spring ’20 you can view, search, and navigate to Apps and Tabs with even fewer clicks!

Recycle Bin Updates

In Winter ’20 we got the Recycle Bin in Lightning, and in Spring ’20 you can do more without going back to Classic. Now in Spring ’20 you can Empty the Recycle Bin and view, restore, and delete your Reports and Dashboards in your Lightning Recycle Bin!

Chrome Extension – Dark Mode

Do you love Dark Mode for your devices and apps? Well now you can bring dark mode to your work day with the new Lightning Extension. The Lightning Extension on the Chrome Extension store gives your users the option to toggle on key early Lightning features, like Dark Mode, to take them for a test drive.

Do MOAR With Calendar

Calendar in Lightning continues to provide more functionality and flexibility for users. Now in Spring ‘20, you can Edit & Delete Events on hover right from your calendar view. Save clicks and do more calendar management right from your calendar tab.
