Learn MOAR with Winter ’20 Release Highlights for Admins

By

Join us and discover the new Winter ’20 release features for Admins and Developers. We know each release brings with it lots of amazing new functionality and there can be a lot to digest. With Learn MOAR, we’re packaging the release and bringing it to you in manageable, bite-sized pieces.

LEARN MOAR

It’s easy to get started. First, dive into the Trailhead trailmixes with key release highlights for Admins or Developers, or both! (And don’t forget to hit Follow.)

Then, check in over the next 5 days (September 20-26) to read our favorite Winter ’20 Release features on both the Salesforce Admin and Salesforce Developer blogs.

Lastly, find your local Trailblazer Community Group and attend a meeting to learn about the release in person. Learn, network, and share your experience with us using #LearnMOAR.

Be sure to follow and complete the trailmixes by October 31, 2019 to earn a special community badge and unlock a $10 donation to FIRST®, a non-profit robotics community that prepares young people for the future.

SCHEDULE TIME WITH THE CALENDAR

We’re kicking off our release highlights blog series with a few updates to the Calendar. Key enhancements include:

  • One of the new Winter ’20 features is the “Availability View”, which allows you to see your coworker’s availability when scheduling meetings. Release notes link: Availability View.
  • See the calendar view you used most recently without selecting a view from the dropdown. This is a real time-saver because the Calendar view is now “sticky” and your users don’t have to always switch to their preferred view when they come to this screen.
  • See more Event Details faster without clicking into an event, like the related Contact/Lead name or associated Account or Opportunity name, right on the calendar event. This is another time-saver so you don’t have to click in.
