You Inspired Us in 2015!

By

At last count my frequent flyer miles was somewhere north of 65,000 and that isn’t counting the numerous road trips to user groups- not to mention the Sydney Admin Keynote. The Admin team has been around the world and back, each stop loaded inspiring stories from Admins who are driving innovation in their organization. But this post isn’t about how many frequent flyer miles I have, or how far we have traveled- 2015 was about you.

Our journey started with you in the snowy mountains of Salt Lake City at Snowforce. There we met with some community superstars, learned best practices, and built a snowman.

From the snowy mountains to the warm embrace of Boston, we kicked off the world tour. And so began our adventure of learning and connecting with you.

With so much amazing content to share- you packed the Admin theaters from Boston to London. Sharing your insights and helping to inspire more Salesforce Admins to be Awesome.

We also had time to talk with you. From new Salesforce Admins attending a world tour for the first time trying to take it all in, to Salesforce MVPs who were helping solve advanced formulas at our demo stations- you motivated us and fueled Admins to be rockstars.

Prior to the Keynote we took a moment to recognize you, the Salesforce Admin, for being an innovator in your business, and a mentor in your community. Thank you to our 2015 AwesomeAdmin award winners: Zachary Tapp, Timothy Kiekow, Jamie Shnider, Gorav Seth, Claire Jones, Selina Suarez, Amanda Malloy, Toya Gatewood, Squire Kershner, Rebecca Vanderslice, Ohad Idan, Melonie Scott, Shonnah Hughes, Stephanie Foerst, Rebecca Lammers.

Over the summer we fueled up (literally) at Midwest Dreamin’- another great community event. It was filled with rockstar breakout sessions, amazing sponsors, and even a demo jam!

Then it was lights, camera, action! As we got ready for Dreamforce 2015. With 150+ admin sessions, an amazing Admin Lodge, and an Admin Airstream we were ready to celebrate all of the amazing work that Salesforce Admins are doing. With our first ever Admin Keynote– you packed the house and brought the thunder!

But it was your stories that made Dreamforce truly special for us. People like Zac Otero, who rebelliously listened to the podcast while working on a manufacturing floor. Then after work studied hard to earn his Salesforce Admin Certification.

And all along the way communities and friends came together to learn new skills and inspire each other.

So thank you for a great 2015! As mentors you are helping to inspire. As leaders you are helping to innovate. And as Admins you are the heart & soul of our community. We can’t wait for 2016!
