Shaping the Future of Agentforce Together: Admin Feedback in Action

By

This article was co-authored by Holly Prouty and Tuhina Koppikar, Lead Researchers on the Salesforce Research & Insights team.

Salesforce’s Research & Insights partners tightly with product leaders to inform product roadmaps and decisions, so your voices directly shape the future of Agentforce.

At TDX ’25, the Agentforce Feedback Zone gave the Research & Insights team an opportunity to listen to and learn from 228 admins, developers, and architects exploring Agentforce capabilities.

A Salesforce Research & Insights team member discusses Agentforce feedback with a TDX attendee.

We gathered feedback on current and aspirational agent use cases, as well as success blockers and drivers across the Agentforce lifecycle. Many attendees reflected both optimism and pragmatism—curious about what’s possible, and candid about what’s hard.

Across hundreds of conversations, one thing was clear: This community thinks critically and creatively about what it takes to make Agentforce successful in real-world scenarios.

Below are some of the themes we heard.

Ideas in motion: Agent use cases from the community

TDX participants shared 107 agent use cases—31 of them already in development. You can use these sample scenarios to bring artificial intelligence (AI) to life in your organization: Identify where agents could solve real problems, partner with business teams to prioritize what matters most, and start building up a backlog of pre-vetted ideas.

These are some of the top use case categories and examples from TDX:

  1. Development support: AI-generated code documentation, release assistance, API and legacy code integration, deployment failure analysis
  2. Process automation: Case management automation, workflow orchestration, internal agent-triggered flows, proactive triggers, financial process automation, flow and Apex execution optimization.
  3. Data management: Integrating grounding data, surfacing Data Cloud connectors, automating data ingestion, unifying data sources for contextual insights
  4. FAQs and Knowledge assistance: Documentation support, automated Knowledge article generation, internal Q&A agents, customer-facing FAQ bots
  5. Sales assistance: Guidance on exec outreach timing, CPQ automation, opportunity dashboards, conversation tracking, deal desk summarization, event support, bundle recommendations, guided selling assistance, hot lead identification, sales coaching
  6. Financial and transactional support: Claim status and trends, fraud detection, invoice validation, billing and provisioning support

Your real and aspirational use cases are helping Salesforce teams understand the problems builders want agents to solve—and how agent capabilities can best align with those jobs to be done.

A shared journey: Insights across the agent lifecycle

Across the stages of adoption—Purchase & Provision, Build & Test, and Scale Use—we’re hearing consistent themes on success drivers and blockers that are helping to shape our path forward.

Hands-on learning is a bright spot for early customer success

Agentblazers repeatedly highlighted hands-on learning opportunities like hackathons, demo orgs, and workshops as key to building confidence and driving their first wins with Agentforce.

To expand these opportunities to more builders in 2025, TDX is going global with personalized Agentforce consultations, industry-leading AI speakers, hands-on Agentforce training, and more.

Clarity, value, and trust are top of mind for teams exploring Agentforce

Many customers have told us that their biggest questions aren’t technical. They’re about understanding—and communicating to their organizations—what Agentforce does, how it delivers value, and how to make the case for investment. There’s demand for resources that help demystify pricing and highlight value in ways that resonate across the organization.

Use the Agentforce ROI Calculator to estimate the potential dollar-value impact of adopting Agentforce, and check out our Agentblazer Trailhead modules to learn how to confidently explain Agentforce concepts and implement business-impacting Agentforce solutions.

Data readiness continues to be a foundational focus

Customers are eager to get started but often aren’t sure if their data is in the right shape—or how to evaluate it. We’re hearing from builders that more support is needed to assess data quality, identify gaps, and define what “good” looks like.

We’re investing in making the agent-building experience even more seamless

Agentblazers are looking for ways to build with confidence and scale efficiently. We’re seeing strong interest in resources that reflect real-world org conditions—and features that support cloning, editing, and iteration—to help teams move from first build to agents-at-scale.

To support that journey, the Agentforce Decoded video series showcases how others are using Agentforce, and is designed to meet you where you are and provide inspiration for your own implementation.

Behind the scenes, our Product and UX teams are continually testing and refining the agent-building experience. Want to help shape those design changes?
